1971 oldsmobile 442

This 1971 only code 62 Bittersweet Iridescent paint Oldsmobile 442 Convertible has recently undergone a rotisserie restoration after being stored in a barn from 1977- 2016. It was restored starting in 2017 with the guidance of a national level judge, and the paint and restoration work were performed by none other then Jim Novelli who has numerous Best in Class and Best in Show awards for his work. All this would explain why this 442 won 1st place at the 2019 Oldsmobile Nationals. This 442 was originally purchased from Iverson Chevrolet Oldsmobile of Whitewater, WI, as a gift to a college graduate by his parents, then put into storage in 1977 with hopes of restoring it someday. It features its born with numbers matching L-31 455 V8 topped off with the optional W-25 Ram Air hood and air cleaner setup. The engine is backed by the correct M-40 Turbo 400 automatic transmission, as well as 3.23 geared 10 bolt G-80 posi-traction rear axle with the W-27 rear aluminum cover. The F-41 H.D. Suspension rolls on P05 Super Stock 1 wheels with reproduction Goodyear G70-14 Polyglas tires and JL-2 power disc brakes, N-47 power steering with an NOS N-34 Custom Sport Steering Wheel. The interior features A-51 Strato buckets seat interior in Code 979 Sienna with center console and floor shift, Rally Pac Gauges, and U-58 AM/FM stereo radio. Also included with this 442 is the original title issued 6/16/1971, original broadcast card, copy of new vehicle warranty pamphlet with original owners name, original owner’s manual, and original dealer decklid plaque.
